Hanna

In spite of her youth, Karine Vanasse is well acquainted
with the sound stage where her charisma and passion for
acting are already recognised. Young television audiences
will be able to savour her great talent in the upcoming
series Les Débrouillards, produced by SDA
and hosted by Gregory Charles. Most recently, she appeared
in the Franco-Canadian coproduction Un hiver de tourmente.
She has also impressed viewers with her roles in the made-for-TV
movies, La Veuve noire(from the Courte échelle
series), and La Vie d´un héros.
Through
her participation in lip synch contests sponsored by the
program Le Club des 100 watts(where she was a two-time
winner), Karine Vanasse discovered her interest
in theatre and film. Her involvement with an improvisation
league introduced her to stage performance. At the age
of eleven, she caught the attention of the entertainment
industry for a commercial she appeared in with Marc Dupré.
Karine Vanasse is also a siner and a member of
the gospel group Les Gospangels. A sports enthusiast,
she has participated in downhill ski competitions in the
Québec games.
